So when I read that metformin causes gas/upset stomach/diarrhea they weren't kidding. It's been about a month now and I want to know...am I going to be plagued with diarrhea forever???? It doesn't seem worth it. I'm scared to eat because I don't know what's going to make my upset stomach and diarrhea even worse than it already is.
It takes awhile but sometimes the side effects come back
Currently prescribed Spironolactone for acne, l plan to stop this while trying to conceive and am extremely worried about my skin breaking out. Any recommendations for alternative treatments which are safe during pregnancy?
Is there a specific brand of myo-inositol you use? I've had a terrible acne problem for the last two years.
I feel like I’ve fallen so far into the PCOS hole that I don’t know how to scratch my way out of it, doctors don’t want to talk to me about it until I lose weight which feels next to impossible. I’ve tried Metformin, It makes me so sick even after 2 months on it and I can’t use birth control Because it’s not safe medically for me so I feel like I’ve just been written off and don’t know where to start and some days I just feel so hopeless and like I’m just stuck like this. Hi! I recently started metformin and have been taking Inositol for a few months - has anyone experienced easier weight loss with this combo? I am very active and eat a relatively clean diet but have a hard time noticing a difference on the scale!

I agree hun. I actually had the tests done twice as the first time I had them done I was with my ex in north Wales, but all the female doctor said was that I may have PCOS
I had them done again when… read more
I seem to bloat up after eating. It doesn't always happends, but it seems to appear when I'm more stressed out. It can get quite intense... I can lose up to one pant size in 24h and then gain it back in a couple days time. I tried keeping a food vs bloating journal, but it just happens whenever. I even started recording the days event to try figure what was going on, bUT still no clue... I was wondering if it happened to anyone else, and what they had done to deal with this, as I am getting… read more
Yes…this is what I’ve been struggling with most of all for the past 6 months…I can’t seem to escape the bloating. The diet I follow HELPS but does not totally fix it. Sometimes it just hits me out of… read more

My hormones are balanced but I still deal with hirsutism on a daily basis. So much so that I shave (my face) every day, if not twice a day.
