I recently had to go to the student clinic here in Logan, and the (i guess) doctor or nurse there first off kept saying I probably didn't actually have PCOS and that my actual doctor probably misdiagnosed me, and then gave me the riot act because I haven't been taking my birth control. She said that taking the birth control will shrink the existing cysts and prevent new ones. Can the birth control actually do that? or is she just handing me crap?
