What Is The Best Way To Stay On Top Of PCOS Without Help From A Doctor?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I don't have access to a doctor nearly as often as I should and I haven't seen the same doctor often. I was hoping for some advice that goes beyond "Exercise and eat right"

I have been the same. I don't have a general practitioner, but I do go to the same gyno always (but not as often as I should.) Exercise and eat right are all I have been told as well, but I feel like there is a better holistic approach that goes deeper than that. I have found that the anxiety and depression (whether directly from my PCOS or not) has to be constantly monitored and addressed. I have been meditating and listening to podcasts that have really helped with that aspect.

Thank you!! That makes sense to me definitely. I really have to stay on top of my depression and anxiety as well. It can be tough but your state of mind controls everything!
