Anyone have lighter periods due to metformin or is it just me ? I get periods like twice a year and it's bad to say the least I rather not have periods but just seeing if there is other women out there with the same issues

Im on metformin and never had a very light period but i have gone months without a period and now i get my period ever 40-50 days . Ive been on metformin for over 10 yrs
