Hi friends! I think I can help explain a bit!

Type 1 PCOS is the most well known, and likely diganosed form of PCOS. The main characteristic of Type 1 is that it is insulin resistant. I think doctors don't often distinguish between the types because this one is super common in most cases.

Type 2 PCOS is non-insulin resistant; someone with type 2 will experience the other symptoms of PCOS without the risk of developing diabetes.

I thought I was the only one. I was never told I was a type.
