Is it possible to ovulate without a positive ovulation test? Sounds like a silly question, but my basal temp went from 97.6 on Sunday, to 98.16 today. but each test i've taken over the last three days has come back negative. I'm just a bit confused.
@A myPCOSteam Member yeah, my doc isn’t really monitoring. Just blood work each month. I don’t have diabetes, but I am on Metformin (5months) for PCoS itself.
When I was on Clomid, the doctor would monitor my follicles. Once it was an ideal size he would give me a trigger shot to help drop the egg. I heard some gyn give clomid without monitoring. I would be careful about that.
I will tell you, if you have any diabetes please have them check your a1c every so often while on fertility meds. The Doctors won't admit to it but, I believe the medication triggered my diabetes. There's no way to tell because pcos can also cause diabetes.
My Reproductive Endocrinologist told me not to even bother with opk. Women with pcos have unpredictable surges and the majority have late surges.
