Which Doctor Is More Helpful?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have seen a lot of people talking about their endocrinologists so i was wondering if they are more helpful with pcos than a regular obgyn or if you should go to both?

My endocrinologist was helpful at first, but as I did more research and had more questions, he was unable to answer any of them. I actually cancelled my next appointment with him as he was so unhelpful the last time I saw him. You have to look for someone, no matter what type of doctor, that has some knowledge of PCOS. It's tough to find, unfortunately. I am just going to work with my general practitioner for a while, but she doesn't know much about PCOS either.

I suggest going to both so that all areas are covered!
