Has Anyone Conceived With PCOS?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Hi. I’m 30 and married for nearly 19 months. Just recently diagnosed with PCOS and feeling so disheartened and upset as we are so eager to have a baby. Really worried and upset that this might not happen for us. My husband is being tested in 3 days , v worried that he might have issues too as it’s been a year of negatives and knock backs. Would love to hear some success stories from people who conceived with PCOS. I’m happy to do whatever it takes to conceive but am so scared of it not… read more

I had two kids. I did fertility for a while, Clomid specifically but that didn't work at first but it started the ball rolling and I got pregnant. Then when she was one I started walking a lot, and did a 1/2 marathon walking and got pregnant with my second kid. I know it's hard and you are scared but try to relax a little and let go. I hated when people said that to me and here I am saying it to you because it works. When I relaxed and stopped worrying about it and then took the pills and did the deeds it worked. I did have gestational diabetes with both children so that was hard but I did manage to have them safely and healthy.

Thanks for the reply, PJ. My husbands results are all good and my consultant was very happy with my bloods so he’s going to review my file and let me know Thursday what the next step is. I did 50mg of clomid which didn’t induce ovulation and then did 100mg which did induce it, though my progesterone was slightly below what my consultant would have liked. I assume maybe 150mg of clomid will be next. How are you finding the change in diet? I don’t have a great diet, probably eat too much sugar really, but my weight isn’t an issue. Could definitely do with cutting out the rubbish though. It’s a tough road, I hope so much it will be worth it for both of us.
