Clomid 3-7 Vs 5-9

So I am almost at the end of my first round of Clomid at 50mg. I was originally supposed to take it day 3-7, but I ended up having a period on my own and decided to consult my obgyn before taking it and took it on day 5-9 instead. The drs office called today and said I did ovulate. Yay! But now if af comes this week I'm not sure if I should go back to the day 3-7 that I should have been on in the first place or stay on the day 5-9 because that obviously worked this month. I would stick with what you know works for your body and if it doesn't work this next time then I would try the cycle day 3-7! I did the same thing. My doctor had actually told me from the get-go to start on days 5-9!
