Bleeding For Months?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone have just ongoing bleeding? Like.. months.. It'll let up to spotting for a week or so, andthen resume.. so.. it's been like 6 or 7 months now. This happened before, and I quit gluten, soy, dairy, and caffine, and worked my butt off and losst 40 lbs, and my cycle returned to normal. Then we had a veryyyy stressful year, and I started caffine and sugar and wasn't so good about gluten and dairy.. and gained the weight back, and now my cycles are awful again. I'm trying to do all the diet/… read more

Sugar really makes it worse I found. Hormones start to go out of whack when you gain. Have you had your hormone levels checked?

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. Before then, for the most part my periods had been normal. Up until about 2 months ago, I bled for over a month straight. I went to the Dr. and that's when they ran the tests and said I have PCOS. I eventually stopped bleeding for a few weeks and then I started again. I spoke to my Dr. and she said the same thing, the birth control should help regulate it. But it hasn't. I've noticed that when I exercise more, it does lighten up a bit. Sorry I don't have much advise here..

In the same boat right now. I've been bleed since march and its not slowing down. I'm doing keto to see if that helps but I might need to cut the dairy too. My body just wont act right 18 days before my wedding
