how do i know if i have pcos i’m still not sure
Blood tests, symptoms such as: lack of periods, facial and body hair, weight gain, and fatigue. Also ultrasound if you may or may not have cysts, not all PCOS sufferers have them. Good luck and please get checked out!
You need to get your hormones checked with a professional
Irregular periods, weight gain, extra body hair, change in voice, tired all the time, some of my symptoms
I never even heard of PCOS until fairly recently. My daughter was not getting periods so she went to the GYN who ran some blood tests and had her undergo a sonogram. The blood tests showed an under active thyroid and the sonogram showed no cysts but a thick endometrial lining because the lining is not being shed because she was not getting her period. It was recommended she see an endocrinologist and she ran a complete series of blood tests to check all the possibilities and that’s when she was diagnosed with PCOS. She has an imbalance of hormones with too much testosterone and not enough of the hormone that controls ovulation. I think the best way to diagnose PCOS is through blood tests looking for hormonal issues since a sonogram may not show cysts at all but blood tests are an accurate way of measuring hormones and seeing what is really going on.
I have the excess bleeding pcos. That is another symptom
