I feel like I’ve fallen so far into the PCOS hole that I don’t know how to scratch my way out of it, doctors don’t want to talk to me about it until I lose weight which feels next to impossible. I’ve tried Metformin, It makes me so sick even after 2 months on it and I can’t use birth control Because it’s not safe medically for me so I feel like I’ve just been written off and don’t know where to start and some days I just feel so hopeless and like I’m just stuck like this. I also have doctors… read more
I was just talking to family members about going out to eat for 2 of my family members birthdays and I just couldn’t deal with it so I stomped off and went to another room.

Yes, the hightened hormones really can effect someone emotionally. Think of a pregnant woman - she can easily be emotional in any direction.
I used to have semi-regular periods every 4-6 weeks. Took Nexplanon, gained 60 pounds in a year, and didn't get but one period while I was on it. Now no period in over a year and a half since I had Nexplanon taken out. Diagnosed with PCOS when I went to the OBGYN trying to get my period back to have babies. No success yet, trying vitamins and supplements. Has anyone gotten their cycle back after weight loss or procedures or taking supplements? I know there are success stories with having babies… read more

My doctor recommend a laparoscopic ovarian wedge resection on both ovaries. As well as looking for and possibly excising endometriosis. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2017 but have had symptoms since my first period at 10 years old. So, this has been a loooooooong journey for me. I am 26 now and finally feel like I am being listened to by my doctor about the pain, discomfort, and overall poor quality of life.
Has anyone had this procedure done? What should I expect? How was your experience? Any… read more

Well. Apart from my fertility treatments, i took these pills called concieve plus. Idk if it was that or the combination of everything. Could be worth a try!
@A myPCOSteam Member No worries! It's all very confusing, but I will definitely talk to my obgyn about it once I find a new one. My symptoms are slight insulin resistance, cystic acne, low libido… read more
For some reason these past few days to a week I've been getting pains in my left side around the area where my left ovary is. Recently tho it's go to both sides now
The pains feel more or less like the ones I had in my right hand side around the area of my right ovary before I was diagnosed with and had removed an ovarian cyst on my right ovary
