What Can I Do For My Pcos ?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I don’t have insurance at the moment and I’m struggling with all my symptoms! Excessive hair growth EVERYWHERE , mood swings and weight gain . I can’t seem to find any way to help slow down my hair growth , I’ve tried a lot of things to lose weight but always gain it back or don’t lose any? What can I do

I love Weight Watchers and have been very successful on it. My OBGYN recommended Myoinositol to help balance my symptons, its over the counter and reasonably affordable. You could try that. I think it has helped slow down my facial hair growth a little.

Cut out carbs, watch your sugar, fatty foods and dairy. Sugar is hidden everywhere! DO not drink pop, stay away from chips. Watch the sugar intake in your alcohol.

Eat a lot of veggies and greens. Try almond milk (or other nut milk) instead of cows milk.

It's hard.. it really is..but just keep trying :) Yes still enjoy some pasta and pizza every once in awhile but portion it.

I agree with Weight Watchers and the myoinositol! I use Pregnitude. It’s myoinositol and comes in a powder form so you can add it to any drink. I use Pinterest for Weight Watchers, low carb/high protein recipes.
