Could Pregnancy Be Impossible With Pcos?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone, I've been trying to get more information about pcos for a while, although I have normal weight but still taking pills to get period, my question is: is it difficult to get pregnant despite having pcos? I'm worried about this, please share with me if you have any pregnancy experiences.

Hi, honestly it depends on your symptoms and hormones. I know 2 women in my inner circle that are either pregnant or gave birth recently that have PCOS. With the right doctor giving you advice or in my case I'm going to an acupuncturist my signs for the chance of getting pregnant are improving. Unfortunately that's the rough thing about PCOS. We are all different in our battle.

I agree each woman is different. Before even beijf diagnosed i was pur on fertility meds to ger pregnant. After 5mp ths of trting i got pregnant and miscarried around 12weeks. Took fertiliry meds for about a year and a half off and on never for pregnant again. Now for the last 6months ive been on metformin and progesterone and i actually ovulated on my own this month so I think once you get your pcos under control pregnancy will be easier... in my opinion

Every woman and body is different. You have to try to have kids for at least a year and then your family doc or gyno will work on fertility meds with you. Some women have no problem, some have to just keep trying. Some will have a few miscarriages before hand. Speak to your doc and your plan will be different than others
