Metformin?

Has anyone had problems taking metformin? Not sure why my blood sugar levels fluctuate so much during the day.. sometimes it drops to the 80 or 70s and i start feeling really sick for the rest of the day

I was put on Metformin a few times over the years as a way to control my PCOS symptoms. The standard variety and the extended release both tore up my stomach so bad that I had to go off them. A few of my friends with PCOS who also took Metformin to manage symptoms also had gastrointestinal issues.

That was the first thing I tried. Didn't do anything for me.

The metformin was really hard in my stomach it made me sick I had to stop taking it
