Ladies . I going on Metformin again however I have previous stomach issues. Anyone have any suggestions on how to ease the stomach side effects of Metformin? ( I ask cause it leaves me getting sick at work)

Advice From a friend that had to take metformin to my husband that has to take it now, eat low carb (basically keto) and the stomach issues and diarrhea seems to go away.
