Hey everyone

One of the main reasons I went to the docs all those years ago is because I experience awful “menstrual” pain as a result of doing vigorous exercise.
This happens regardless of where I am in my cycle, not just when I’m on my period.

I've read that HIIT can be detrimental to those of us with PCOS because it can increase cortisol levels (which we tend to already have high levels of). Im sorry you are struggling with pain though.

That's true if the HIIT session is too long. I have read that if it's 15 mins and it is mixed with weight training then it can be beneficial for weight loss. My suggest would be to make the total workout 30 mins so that your body does not endure stress for too long. I hope you feel better soon :)

That’s interesting - I hadn’t thought of that. I have been prescribed topical steroid ointments for eczema for years... use them every day.
