I Live In The UK. Can I Get My Fertility And Egg Quality Tested?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I ideally dont want to go private but I would prefer to know what my fertility is like to know when to start trying to have a baby. My partner and I are only at the buying a house stage though we've been together 5 years now! Also hes younger and not crazy about trying to have children yet...

I think going for a house that isnt top of our budget is best for me. I love travel but it's not like I get to do much of that for awhile. Sorry to hear about your husband's hours! My hours have been fewer the last few weeks but I worked throughout lockdown while my partner got full pay to do nothing at home! It's been tough in many ways

Aww I’m sorry to hear. Its been a crap year with everything going on. But here’s hoping you find your lovely new house soon. My partners had his hours cut by half because of this year. No one wants us unfortunately, so we’re on the council list now, not what we wanted, but living at the in laws house was the worst mistake I made too.

I hope it all works out for you, don’t give up, your dream home will appear soon enough and will be better than the one you had to turn down :).

We had found a house but needed to give it up due to the uncertainty around covid. Biggest mistake ever since it's only been really tough on my mental health. A close friend recently found a house but honestly I'm not even happy for her. I just want to move to get better treatment from doctors.

Yeah I understand that, its a stressful process. They told me try for a year, which i already had when i approached them. Moving at thw minute has been pretty much near impossible, its so frustrating!

I was told to try to conceive naturally first. I really didnt like that response because it creates more stress for me not knowing. I was hoping to move this year to get new doctors but I've not had luck with that either
