Before my PCOS was treated my testosterone levels were in the 200s. My PCOS has been well-controlled for 19 years, but during the pandemic, I have gained a lot of weight, and I am wondering if my PCOS is in a flare. My red blood cells were elevated significantly enough that my oncologist is concerned. I know that I do not have the most common causes of elevated RBCs. Elevated testosterone can do it. Hello, Were you able to resolve the elevated RBCs? My recent blood work showed elevated RBCs and Testosterone, but my doctor is sending me for sleep apnea test as she thinks it's caused by lack of oxygen and secondary polychemia? What did your doctor do and was it resolved?
