Walking first thing in the morning really helps me have a more active day. I am lucky ti have a trail head close to my house, but i also like walking the neighborhood streets

The biggest thing that helped was just getting out to go walking as often as possible. Even just 30 minutes a day of outdoor time can seriously improve your mood. Be that 30 minutes walking, or sitting on a bench while reading a book, just make sure that you get that fresh air and sunshine.
And when its rainy or otherwise foul weather? Go out anyways!! Let your inner child out, jump in the puddles, splash in the mud, pretend like nothing else in the world matters. It will seriously help!!
