Hi! I’ve been taking metformin (and a whole host of vitamins suggested by my OBGYN) for a couple of months now. I have also done a gradual but now complete overhaul on my diet within the last 3-4 months. I’ve reduced my sugar (especially added) and simple carb intake, been avoiding inflammatory foods, and have been drinking between 1/2-1 gallon of water daily. Congrats on your success! I have been on and off metformin over the years myself! Most recently I started it in January, lost 17 lbs and stopped taking it...because depression (or maybe it's misdiagnosed adhd, that's another convo lol!). Anyway...your post was a good reminder I need to start taking it again cause I'm feeling heavier, bloated and periods have been heavier since I stopped.
