I have prolonged menstrual periods that go on for months as long as 10 months stop for about 3 weeks and back to bleeding some days are abnormal heavy bleeding but mostly lighter days but always non stop
When I have prolonged periods I take a medication called Provera
I have been diagnosed with both PCOS and hypothyroidism, I am at a double disadvantage. I was wondering if any of you ladies have both conditions as well?
I was going to get into a Keto diet,but unfortunately, my thyroid needs carbs to function properly :-/. Just wondering if anyone else is having to experience both?

I have PCOS, Hypothyroidism, Pituitary Tumor, no period and IBS.
I don't know if it had to do with pcos or just after having a baby but after having a baby 8 months later I had to have my gallbladder removed.
hi i am 25 years old and i have been dignosed with PCOS and trying to fall pregnant but nothing of that sort .i recently found out the i have hypothyroidism so now i am on Metformin 500mg twice a day and on Euthyrox (thyroid med) 1 a day .
has anyone have some what relation to what i have and fell pregnant can i have some advice

I fell pregnant at 25...i believe my PCOS is worse then ever now and also believe i have hypothyroidism...but hopefully with the treatment you are on you will fall pregnant! GOOD LUCK!!!!
I have hypothyroidism and it was diagnosed by blood tests carried out to dis cover the cause of white patches on my skin.I've been on eltroxin for about 9 years now and I was wonderin has anyone else got this.dark patches are assocciated with pcos but mine are white and I've only been diagnosed with pcos since July this year.they said it's a symptom of my pcos as I don't have acne.oily skin or any excessive hair growth.except these patches....anyone?

I get plenty of sleep, but just feel exhausted. Wondering if it could be related to PCOS or if it's related to something else. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am on medication so it could maybe be that as well.

I am the same way. I found that adding a B complex helped me. Additionally, I have a Vitamin D deficiency, so adding that helped as well.

I have recently started taking Metformin and it’s causing stomach issues. I experience nausea and diarrhea. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to help with the diarrhea? I have thought about taking Imodium or trying a probiotic to see if that helps. If there has been anything that has worked for you please let me know! I would rather try and treat the side effects than give up on the metformin because I think it is really helping me.
