I am on my first cycle of IVF and have been taking Follistim and Menopur. My doctor raised my dose of Follistim with still no growth. I am on day 7 and my ultrasounds show that my follicles have not grown past 10. I will have another ultrasound in 2 days to determine if it will be a failed cycle. My estrodial has been increasing and is now a little over 200. With PCOS I have cut out dairy and most artificial sugars from my diet and try to include almond milk, nuts, vegetables, and chicken. Anyone ordered these before and gotten accurate results? (Follicle stimulating hormone tests). I don’t want to order them, get false results and then start panicking! Thank you!
So the doctor had done a ultrasound on me on my first appointment seeing him and informed me that "it looks like my uterus lining is thick" so he prescribed me with 200mg progesterone for 10 days to thin out the lining and have my menstrual regulated. He mentioned that it should regulate my period which i havent had since age 22 and i am 33 right now. So i was excited thinking im about have my menstrual regulated again and have a chance to conceive which ive been trying the last 13 years with… read more
Hi! I would first like to comment that it's odd he took what you said during your virtual meeting as a positive sign. If you took 200mg of progesterone for 10 days, you should have bled 1-3 days… read more
My partner and I are currently TTC and started our first round of fertility treatment, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. I know patience is key, but going through something like this isn't easy. I'm looking for a provider and team who are compassionate, sensitive, and patient-centered.
@A myPCOSteam Member Thank you for the prayers girl! On my TWW right now after my second cycle with the trigger shot. I have been really focusing on clean eating and limiting any processed foods… read more
My hormones are balanced but I still deal with hirsutism on a daily basis. So much so that I shave (my face) every day, if not twice a day.
Website doesn’t work
because i got diagnosed with that and every time i search it up the pcos comes out and i just want to make sure it's what i have or not..
I would guess “peripherally oriented” means that the follicles are on the outside of the ovaries. Did you ask your doctor what it meant? My best non-medical guess is that it’s still PCOS without the… read more
My husband and I have been TTC for 6 yrs. After finally finding a good dr and getting my PCOS diagnosis I have been on Metformin 1000mg twice a day. I had an HSG done, labs and US. Everything is now looking normal. I finished my Femara 2.5mg twice a day for 5 days last week and I have my ultrasound to look at follicles tomorrow. I’m so so anxious and hoping this is it. Does anyone have any Femara success stories?
Have used it but it didnt work for me did IVF after i tried everything else.
Is it possible to ovulate without a positive ovulation test? Sounds like a silly question, but my basal temp went from 97.6 on Sunday, to 98.16 today. but each test i've taken over the last three days has come back negative. I'm just a bit confused.
@A myPCOSteam Member yeah, my doc isn’t really monitoring. Just blood work each month. I don’t have diabetes, but I am on Metformin (5months) for PCoS itself.
Hi im on my second cycle of clomid after my first cycle led to a blighted ovum (miscarriage). Waiting for ovulation to occur. Im 1 week since last clomid tablet! last time it was 2 weeks after last clomid tablet that ovulation occured is it roughly the same everytime ?
I was always given a trigger shot of ovidrel. My RE always said because of the PCOS the ovulation might not occur even if the follicle matured so he gave me trigger shots.
