My gyne gave me the option of having surgery to remove part of left fallopian. This is the side that is extremely painful ( large cysts develop) during ovulation. At last ultrasound tube was bigger then it should be. Just curious if anyone has had this done and their experience with it. 😊
I've had a laparoscopic cystectomy in February 2022 to remove an 11cm ovarian cyst from my right ovary
I sometimes think that my ovaries and fallopian tubes are on the wrong sides as my left ovary is… read more

Before I go back on birth control, the doctor wants to do a D&C to check on my built-up lining. I am nervous for this surgery. It will be my first surgery, and I am scared of anesthesia due to PTSD.
Hi there. So, I did have a D&C during a surgery I had for parapelvic cysts. They just did the D&C at the same time because I had a cyst on my uterus so they took care of it. I was under so I didn't… read more
My OB said since I do not have pain outside period cramping that an ultrasound is not needed. Just curious if everyone has pain associated with their cysts.
I have pain 3 weeks in the month and that every month since I diagnosed with PCOS, but I think it is different for each women.
Me and my doctor deduced that the 2-3 days i would bleed before my period was cycsts rupturing, last month i had the bleeding and the feeling of cysts rupturing but no period, now im having the feelings of rupturing cysts and slight bleeding (not period).
Anyone else have issues like this?
@A myPCOSteam Member I have Sharp angry pains that usually double me over in whatever im doin when its a cyst bursting. whenits a period have bloating/cramps.
I'm a bit exasperated as I start my 9th menstrual cycle in 4 months. Yes, it comes with all the PMS mood swings, cravings, and cramps every time. It's because I'm taking progesterone (originally prescribed because to potentially help depression? But my midwife told me to keep taking it after an exam not only diagnosed PCOS but also revealed a larger cyst that has her concerned). Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with larger cysts with PCOS and how they were treated/what the results were.
Have you ever got your cyst removed so you can be able to conceive
Thank you KareBearNC definitely will look into that
I been told that I have PCOS but my lab levels came back normal and when they did the ultrasound showed no Cysts and everything was good there as well.

Went to a gynecologist tonight due to fibroids in uterus. Did the internal ultrasound to check on my pcos but apparently they are gone. I have bigger issues and currently freaking out as one fibroid needs investigating but the doc said my pcos is a thing of the past. I’m confused can pcos ever go away and why is my body not showing signs of it. I know it sounds stupid I should be happy right but I feel like there is information missing here
Ok so when I was 25 and trying to get pregnant, my periods were like 3 months apart, testosterone was slightly high, weight gain as soon as I got off the pill and I had cysts on my ovaries. After 2… read more
My cysts really act up about once a month...if I'm lucky once every two months. I am not on birth control because my husband and I are TTC and I am under the care of an RE. When I have an issue with my cysts, the pain is so horrible that it makes me throw up, I can barely move. My husband has had to carry me before. Usually I end up in the ER with the same routine...labs, pain meds, nausea meds, *sometimes* an ultrasound. The problem is it is usually my right side, so they always want me to… read more
