Partner Question
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have a question about partners. I am looking for someone (man) to share my life with. I am on a site, but hope i will meet him, in say a grocery store
There is a guy online who likes me. But i am not attrected to him. And when i saw his story, he has had lots of problems with his body too, and i think cant have kids
I am not interrested in this man, but is it wrong of me to click him away so to speak, because he possibly cant have kids. I mean, i have enough problema on my one on that… read more

It sounds like you are not interested in him to begin with. I think thats a hard moral question. In one way you wouldnt want someone making judgements about being with you because you have issues in that department, but on the flip side you want the best chance of conceiving so it would not benefit you to be with someone that also has reproductive issues as well. The concern shows your compassion for those struggling with reproductive issues so i wouldn't be hard on judgements towards yourself and wanting someone that is healthy. The fact that you question it shows you are caring and a good person. If you were already together with that man and found out about his issues it would be a hard decision. When it comes to relationships and love/happiness there are times when you need to be selfish and think about what you really want. If they dont check the boxes move on. Someone will come along that checks them all or most of them and you can feel confident you can handle the rest. Its unfortunate that some people have to make the decision but there would be more problems and resentment down the road if you chose that person and give up what you have really wanted. The things most amazing in our life are usually the things we have to make the toughest decisions with. Just follow your heart and you will find your answer.

I think far too often we settle for things that make us unhappy. Therefore, it’s important to be true to yourself!!! You weren’t attracted to him and that’s ok because someone else will be. Recognizing he just wasn’t it for you, also, saves him in the long run. A lot of people will take someone like him for a ride and mean them no good. Happens everyday. Be ok with you and your decisions @A myPCOSteam Member

I think if you are questioning the morality of writing him off b/c of health problems, then you know, or at least feel, it is wrong. He could be the nicest guy you've ever met and you'll be motivated to get healthy together! God knows best, but either way I think you should give everybody a fair chance. Regardless, I pray you find a real man who will provide for you and support you in every way, and at least share your faith for God 🙂

Thanks you girls, its was hard to write that. I indeed didn't find him attractive in the first place, nor his intrests or hobbies.Later i read his story and that made me think and made me question myself.
If i had a relationship with him and then find out he had these problems it would be different. But i only had a few likes and things on my page from him.

Im attracted to blond hair and blue/green eyes and a pointy nose (not to pointy😉) and eventough i would still like a man with dark hair and dark eyes, but that still has my preference.

Im not going in great detail about his story, but he was born with several healthproblems, and they needed an dna test to find out if he was male or female. The doctors made him female, because of his body, but he grew up feeling like a boy, and the results said he was a man.
