Myo-Inositol
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I am seeing that Mo-Inositol is good for PCOS. My questions are has it helped with symptoms, has it helped with anxiety, has it helped anyone get pregnant, has it helped with losing any weight? If anyone is taking it I'd appreciate any feedback. I am very intersted in taking it. I want to try anything natural and seeing what my options are before I turn to medication. Thank You! :)

Hi :) I have been using it now for about 5 months. Immediately when I started taking it I could feel that my sugar cravings and blood sugar control drastically improved. I actually stopped using metphormin and only started taking the myo-inositol, and I am still very satisfied with it. I have not really seen any weight loss using it. I did have a natural cycle last month though and believe the myo-inositol had some contribution to this.

Its a natural product and I would say give it a try and see if it works for you. I used the powdered form so I could customize the dosage that suit me :) Good luck

I am taking it and I have found it has helped with my satiety, weight loss and regulating periods. It is also meant to help with egg quality. This is only my first month trying to conceive so I am not sure if it will help that or not yet. It is defo worth a go as there are no side affects and it is does not alter other medications. I have read research that it works best when taken with folic acid too. People are also talking about ovasitol which is inositol mixed with D-chiro (specific measurements) but it is so expensive! So I will just buy the D-chiro separate I reckon. I spoke to my mums friend who is a fertility specialist for hormone issues and she recommended inositol and the research is limited but looking extremely positive. :) (as always this is just my personal outlook)
