I have hypothyroidism and it was diagnosed by blood tests carried out to dis cover the cause of white patches on my skin.I've been on eltroxin for about 9 years now and I was wonderin has anyone else got this.dark patches are assocciated with pcos but mine are white and I've only been diagnosed with pcos since July this year.they said it's a symptom of my pcos as I don't have acne.oily skin or any excessive hair growth.except these patches....anyone?

I have white patches, too. I have one the size of a silver dollar on my chest and one on the back of my leg. I've had them since I was little so I can't say that any one thing contributed to them. I just thought they were patches where my skin lacked pigment - didn't even know there was a medical term for it. How long have your had them?

I too have hypothyroidism. I have had some rough white patches on my ankles and elbows.
