Can Anyone Offer A Non-birth Control Option To Help Treat My High Testosterone?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So I had my annual labs done and no shocker, my testosterone is high (which I know is common for PCOS women). This is the highest it has ever been for me though. My OB/GYN wants me to start birth control to treat my endometriosis and my high testosterone but since we are trying to get pregnant (constantly hoping for a ttc miracle) I really want to avoid this. My testosterone was 63. Any ideas?

I put my niece and sister with pcos onto a natural progesterone cream " serenity cream, made by wellsprings " my niece now has a one year old and pregnant with her 2nd child and my sister with her 1St. It made their cycles regular and enabled and helped sustained pregnancy " use until 12weeks gestation " I've been using it for years and have regular cycle and no cysts and my hormone levels are great " tested a few weeks ago " it's really worth giving it a go as it's natural and works. Drs don't like to recommend as big pharmaceutical don't make money off it. I'm in Australia and order online from the UK. If you google serenity cream you can do some reading on their sites.I discovered it after searching for a natural alternative. I've had pill, depoprovera, merina iud etc the merina with its progesterone core made me click and start searching for a natural ulturnative.

I had very high testosterone 7 months ago and my endocrinologist prescribed me Finasteride daily and I just did my labs a week ago and my levels were back to normal.
