@A myPCOSteam Member Gluten free won't help your insulin resistance at all. You need to be on low GI for insulin resistance. It's your blood sugar that you need to manage.

I think by gluten free he/she means cut out most of your carbs that come from refined grains because they get converted to glucose in the body . So only whole wheats & in little amounts

@A myPCOSteam Member yes it is insulin resistant. My doctor said to go gluten free which is different than low GI.

It really depends what kind of PCOS you have. If it's insulin resistant then going low GI will help. If you have the immune related PCOS it's a little bit more difficult.
