You might want to try acupuncture, I have been going for a couple months and have noticed a huge difference.

I can totally relate with the irregularity of my periods...I use an app called Ovia to track my cycles.
Its a fertility tracking app and the more info you put into it the more accurate the app is in "forcasting" your cycles.
Personally, I love this app. I track everything I can with it, it helps so much when I go to the doc and it allows you to add a partner email so my husband gets emails based on what i put into the app.
Plus there are a lot of helpful articles on it. The hardest part is remembering to put your info into it but even then, it can be sync'd with other apps so that some info is automatically added
I know apps aren't for everyone but its worth a look and if after a few weeks you don't like it, you can always delete it :-)

My favorite is Wondfo, its super easy to tell the difference in positive and negative. Also, make sure your thermometer is basil body and that it shows 98.62 instead of 98.6. That will show the most accurate change in your temps.

I track my ovulation with test strips. I get them on Amazon in bulk for a decent price. You just dip for 3 seconds and wait 5 minutes. They can be hard to read at first but I've found keeping them and taping them to a piece of paper after they dry so you can line them up and compare helps. I also take my temp every morning when I wake up before getting out of bed. There is an app I use called Fertility Friend, they also have a website you can use, that will help you keep all that information tracked and gives you a chart for your temps and your symptoms ect. It will tell you based on your temps and your ovulation tests where in your cycle you are and so forth. So far it has been pretty accurate for me even when I get lazy and don't take my temps.
