For Those Who Have To Shave Your Chin Everyday And Have Sensitive Skin, How Do You Deal With Razor Bumps And Irritation?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have shave everyday (I just started to apply a mixture of oils to create a barrier on my skin) and I use 5 blade razors for men because they get me a smooth shave, but I don't know what to put on afterwards to prevent irritation and razor bumps.

Also try a liquid called Skin Tight for ingrown hairs & razor bumps. It comes in regular & extra strength. I am an African American female and have to use the extra strength formula everyday to clear up & prevent bumps. It WORKS!!! I have to shave my face several times a week. Laser didn't work for me. Would love to try the cream called Vaniqa but insurance doesn't cover it unfortunately.....

Every morning I shave with the Philosophy brand facial wash which is actually pretty good for my skin. I know they have one specifically designed for razor bumps if you want to look into it.
After I'm done, I make sure to apply a hydrating facial lotion. The one I use is by Garnier Frutise which are all very good. They usually come with like an SPF so if your out in the sun it helps. It doesn't make you greasy which I loce. I can't put on regular type of lotion because I will break out in sweat and also it is not good for our pores as it will clog them.
To finish off everything I apply Garnier Frutise BB cream which works wonders. It gives good coverage while still being light on the skin. I don't get any razor bumps using this regime. This has worked out for me. I have been doing it for years now.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I use PCOS Naturals facial hair stuff. I don't have 2 shave but every 3-4 weeks...even then it's only a few hairs I can pluck and shaving foam from them stops the bumps. U should check them out www.pcosnaturals.com

@A myPCOSteam Member: That's awesome! Does it work on thicker facial hair or just fine?

I dont shave because my skin is crazy as it is. Nair actually came out with a facial hair remover cream that works for me. I didnt believe itd work but it did for me. And when little hairs grow back inbetween i keep tweezers in my car for a snatch and go.
