Is It My Period, Or Am I Ovulating?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So, I had a "period" for 21 out of 30 days this month. But I'm starting to wonder if maybe I am ovulating? The first few days, I was spotting with some mucus-y stuff. Can you ovulate right before your period? Is that a thing?

Thanks! Checking my temps was my thought too. My thermometer is just lost somewhere in boxes still.

I second that also digital ops help. At least for me. If you are bleeding or spotting, you most likely are not ovulating, but opks and temps would help.

I suggest you start taking your temps early in the morning. You'll learn a lot about your cycle and whether or not you're ovulating. Check out taking charge of your fertility by Toni weschler.
