How Hard Is It To Get Pregnant With PCOS
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I'm 24 years old. I just found out I have PCOS. I have a beautiful boy already but he's 3. I'm ready for another baby. I've always wanted a big family ever since I could remember
I want to know how hard it is to get pregnant with this. Things I can do to help me get pregnant besides fertility pills. And how do you guys deal with being told you'll never be able to carry another baby
I'm at such a loss and none stop stressing. My son is my 5 pregnancy and he's the only one who made it past 4… read more

Hey there! I saw a endocrinologist/fertility specialist through Johns Hopkins. He told me to go home and do a high protein low carb diet. I had tried for 4 years at this point to become pregnant. I went home did the diet prayed to God A LOT and a few months later I was pregnant. I went off of that eating plan fast forward 7 years go by no more children.. Go back to eating that way, lost weight, stabilized insulin levels ( I am not diabetic) and had two little healthy girls in 19 months. I totally believe that way of eating and prayer did it. I hope this helps!!

I went off the pill and got pregnant with my 1st within 2 months. Fast forward two years later and I had secondary infertility. I tried provera to induce periods . We tried metformin with clomid 6 unsuccessful rounds plus metformin made me very sick and awful stomach pains. I then had an hsg done and 3 months later got pregnant just with no period before. My boys are 4 years and 8 months apart so it took a while, but no 2 cases of pcos are the same unfortunately. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!

I have a two-year-old and we are trying for our second. I am wondering the same things. I am very stressed out over it. I went off birth control and I had my first period but then my second never came. My doctor wants me to wait longer to see if my period will come back on it's own. I'm not good at waiting and I want to take some kind of action.
