I'm sorry to hear that. My doctor wanted me to have the procedure to make sure that my tubes were not blocked and that there was no form of cancer Etc. I got my procedure done today I find out the results in a week. It was Payless and quick. Then I have a series of blood tests to do during my cycle. Depending on the results we will see what needs to be done in regards to conceiving.

Mine was not painful just very uncomfortable, like a prolonged Pap smear. I was told if my tubes were blocked that there may be pain when they injected the dye but my tubes were not blocked so I can’t attest to that. I took ibuprofen before and took the day after off just in case but I was fine the day after. Hope all goes well for you :-)

Shortly after talking to my boyfriend this morning that I was going to buy a pregnancy test. I got my period. I let him know. He said he's a little sad about it, but guesses it was not the right time. Even tho I knew it would eventually come or if I had taken a test it would've been negative its a bit disappointing. Going to take my blood tests on Tuesday morning.

Haven't gotten my period since the procedure. So i havent been able to do the blood tests the doctor recommended. My Dr made me take a pregnancy test before the procedure and it was negative. I'm going to take another pregnancy test hopefully this weekend. I doubt that it will be positive. No pregnancy symptoms at all.

It was painful not horribly though for me and my tubes were not blocked. My doctor prescribe drugs me Valium to take the night before and the day of to help me relax at least. The plus side I ended up getting pregnant not even 3 month after the HSG after trying for over 2 years with metformin, clomid, and provera
