Keto does have a lot of controversy, but I will tell you; I started it in May 2017 and kept up with it off and on till the end of January this year (several month breaks in between) and I went from 286 to 248 on it. Not only did I lose weight but I started having regular periods every month and my insulin resistance was under control. I thought it was a crazy diet at first, but I have seen it work wonders. I lost over 10% of my body fat and that's what caused me to be regular again. I now take @Metformin and just eat right and @exercise to regulate.

Diets work differently for everyone. The best advice I can offer is to get a very good dietician with PCOS experience. Also document all food and drinks. You want to take in more protien than carbs.

My doctor said 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fats. She said 1,200-1,500 calories a day.
