Dont Know Where To Go For Proper Help For Pcos
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So i was told by my gyno that anyone who has pcos can develop Endometrial Cancer. Great news i thought!! She said i should go on birth control to thin the lining of the uterus which will decrease chances of getting cancer. However- there are alot of side effects with bc that scare me..i.e- blood clot as one example. Then someone said see a endocrinoligst they can regulate your hormones. Im just so confused! I want to correct the issue but i just dont know which way to go? Does anyone else have… read more

Snacking
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

At work I am finding myself doing off phone work more than on phone work and I am trying to train myself to not eat unless it's my breaks, I am struggling with this and I have brought in fruit to snack on rather than sweets and crisps but I want to get out of this habit can anyone suggest anything I can do to help or is it just my lack of will power holding me back??
Anything would be helpful.

I Feel So Alone
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I feel so alone. No-one I know has PCOS and my doctors are useless
I was diagnosed in April 2015 and was given very little information about it and was told to lose weight to manage it, I've done various different diets/ life style changes and nothing ever happens, I lose a bit and then gain it back again. I've seen a dietitian and she's looked through a food diary and asked me how I cook my food and she can't see anything wrong with the way I eat. I walk a lot of places, I love walks, but… read more

Did Starting Birth Control Make You Emotional?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So I recently got diagnosed with PCOS a little shy of a week ago, and I started non-estrogen birth control to help regulate my cycles (the most recent period I was on lasted 2 months 😬) and it completely stopped the bleeding—thank goodness. I have however been feeling more emotional lately with no other symptoms. I do have depression and GAD, so maybe it’s affecting that? I’m not really sure. Has anyone else experienced this?
