I smoke marijuana to help me sleep at night because of anxiety. Is there anyone else that does and does it help with your pcos? It also help with my depression.
Hi, I wanted to ask - have you considered trying magnesium supplements? Some pubmed peer reviewed journal studies have linked low magnesium and PCOS.
I also suffer from migraines, and extreme muscle tightness, and anxiety, and taking 400mg of magnesium has reduced the migraines and all the other symptoms too! If i get low, i actually feel myself having more panic attacks. Magnesium is known for its calming effect.
One note tho: by the citrate or bisglycinate versions - they wont give you 'the runs' like magensium oxide will at higher concentrations.
It may not help you, but i wanted to share in case it might!
Yes, I completely agree. When going black market I also go with someone I know ans trust. But honestly its helped me through some really rough times. Definitely an advocate for this method.
I do most days, I have tried many different antidepressants but could never stick to them, they just never worked for me. I found going natural has helped so much. Unfortunately it is still illegal in the U.K. but I am definitely an advocate for the healing benefits of cannabis.
Yes, I definitely hope it can be more widely used and accepted soon. Some people go home and have a beer at the end of a long day - why is smoking a joint in the privacy of my home any different, ya know? I know it's bigger than that but you get what I'm saying - it does not have to be so demonized. I was even looking into some women using cannabutter and topical salves instead of heavy duty pain meds during labor - but their were some horror stories about child services coming in and taking away the baby because of "drug use"! Meanwhile an epidural contains fentanyl and other heavy duty narcotics - I get that every woman is different and has different needs - I'm not knocking anyone for wanting/needing an epidural but why can't WE decide what we want without fear of punishment. Again, thanks for bringing this up!
Thanks for opening up discussion on this topic! I know it can be very taboo still, despite the push to normalize marijuana. I'm a huge proponent for medical marijuana and I live in a legalized state - the laws on recreational are still shady at best in my opinion. Marijuana has ALWAYS helped me with debilitating periods, but does not qualify me for medical in my state. Buying off the "black market" meant having no idea what chemicals were used to grow it, what other contaminants were in it, and also no idea if it was really what they said it was! But back to your questions - yes, it undeniably helps with my PCOS and I wish we could qualify for medical with this syndrome!
