A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed today with PCOS. I would like to gather tips on how to track symptoms and such and any other research y'all have found helpful.

I use an app on my phone called Womanlog i have the pro version but there is a free version. You can keep track of period, weight, meds, symptoms, ovulation tests, preg tests and other stuff. I hope that helps :) i find it very useful

A period tracker called Clue helped me track my symptoms when I was first diagnosed. I use Myfitnesspal to count my calories/log my food and make notes there too. I did a lot of research online as well - this 30 day challenge really helped me change my eating habits https://www.smartfertilitychoices.com/free-30-d... Everyone is different so it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out what works for you and what doesnt - be patient and be kind to yourself thru the process.

So for symptoms i keep a journal at home of symptoms and questions that i have for my doctor or just for simply anything i feel needs talked about with her. I also during the day use the notes app on my phone (i have iphone) that way i dont have to carry journal and than at night i put it in my journal (complicated i know lol). As for research i just looked up a bunch of different things online.
