Has Anyone Experienced Hot Flashes With PCOS And Did Any Medication Or Treatment Help Get Rid Of Them Or Ease Them? I
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS and have been put on 500 of metformin. Haven’t noticed a difference at all since taking the medication. I got back to the doctor in 2 weeks to maybe get my dose increased but didn’t know if anyone had any relief? I’ve been dealing with them for awhile and they are absolutely terrible :( I’m currently TTC so birth control isn’t an option right now

I get hot flashes too! my gyn checked my FSH levels to check for pre-menopause, but everything was good, so she is assuming that it is a mixture of the higher hormones from PCOS and anxiety!

The actually gave me metformin for the pain I was having from my period but that was before I found out I am diabetic and need to take it away but even taken metformin all the time I still have hot flushes.
