Pregnancy And PCOS
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed with PCOS March 2015 while being treated for an ectopic pregnancy. I recently just found out I am pregnant again and this seems to be a healthy pregnancy. My question is, for those who have been pregnant before, does PCOS effect a pregnancy much or at all?

Metformin/Clomid/Letrozole + TTC
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all, my doctor told me to do research on the meds listed ^^ above. I was just curious if anyone has tried any of these singularly, or combined while TTC? My husband and I are trying naturally for the next three months before meeting with my OB to develop a medical plan to help us conceive. These were the only three she mentioned. So I am open to other suggestions, but these are the primary ones I'm looking at right now.

A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I am about to start my first round of Clomid to help me conceive. Researching and reading success rates for conceiving while prescribed Cloimd is a little scary. 10 to 20%. I just want to see some positivity to give me a little more hope then what I have right now.

Is There Anything More I Could Do To Help Me Concieve? And How Do I Stop Getting Utis All The Time?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So with both my kids it took me about a year to conceive but the only thing I did was be really strict with my diet and track my ovulation. Well we have been trying for our last baby for 18 months and I've been doing the same thing but I have not concieved and I've been getting a lot of utis (even though I'm being very careful and taking urinary tract health supplements every day). The doctor is not concerned and doesn't want to do anything to help me get pregnant because "you're so young" (i… read more

How Did You Know You Were Pregnant?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve lost about 20 in the last year I went from 182 to 160. I went from having no period for a whole year from pcos to starting to kinda sorta have a pattern. In December I had 2 periods in one month they were a week apart. But January came along and AF was right on time. My boyfriend and I do have unprotected sex but we aren’t trying. About 7 days before my expected period for February I had a sharp cramp on my left side that lasted ALL day and night! Which never happenes. And ever since then… read more
