Despite trying a normal sleep schedule and eating healthier, I feel fatigue hard. I came home today and as soon as I sat down fell asleep. All day I was light headed and had a headache. Does anyone have any advice for helping this? I’m not on any medications at the moments and I’ve been trying to eat fruit for breakfast, a light lunch, and a protein dinner (like chicken and broccoli.) Check out the low-gi diet. It is based on the notion that certain foods (even healthy ones) can cause sugar swings and crashes. When I adhere to it I notice my sugar seems to stabilize and I feel a ton better.

I would suggest have a protein with breakfast and after lunch have a snack that includes a protein and a healthy fat.

Sounds like me when I have low blood sugar. Maybe the healthier choices just dont have enough calories to sustain you throughout the day? I try to eat enough protein throughout the day and I usually need a snack around 3 (I usually have a tuna pouch) or I will crash the same way when I get home.

You might want to have your thyroid checked also. This was how I was until I realized I had a low thyroid and needed meds to help.
