I have been reading and found that endocrinologist or reproductive endocrinologist are the ones that treat pcos. Haven you had any experience with it? So far I have seen my pcp and gyn only.

Hello. I would definitely go to see the gynecologist. Heavy bleeding with clots for long periods of time is not normal and not healthy. You may need an intervention or a D&C. My sister in law experienced the same situation after being period free for over 1yr. She had a build up of the uterine lining. It got so bad that she had to be on meds for anemia and even had a blood transfusion once. You don’t have to take birth control to manage these symptoms but other holistic options can be costly from what I hear.

Thank you so much. I will surely see a gyn and my pcp. I want it to get better but not going on birth control again.
