No matter how well I wash my head even with prescribed shampoo from my doctor, my scalp is almost always oily and gets into my hair and on my face meaning I have to wash pretty much daily :/ so if anyone has any recommendations for either or it'd be very much appreciated cause I'm going mad!
Also throwing this question in here - is it normal for your scalp to feel rather tender and "bumpy" with PCOS or should I seek doctor's advice?
Also, the bumps in your scalp are likely due to the excessive oil clogging up your pores. So once you find a remedy or even get meds prescribed from a doctor, the bumps should go away.
Hey team mate! I would have to say seek a doctor's advice, if you don't get useful help from others on here. I have no idea, my scalp is actually on the other end of the spectrum...too damn dry! Lol. However, I've always had oily skin on my face so PCOS has made this problem worse. Neutrogena skincare products tends to help me with scalp and face issues so they may have something for you. My face is super oily. I started using full of grace and imperealious from Lush to help with the face oil. Hope you figure out what works best for you!
