I've been treating my PCOS with Aldactone since I was 14 and I've done well on it except for the fact that I put on weight over the years which I know is also common with this condition.

I had just quit smoking when i started so not sure about that, worth an ask to the doc. My labs results showed 50 and above as being high but I think every lab has a range based on the averages of all the tests so yours could be slightly different. It took about 3 months for me to actually see the results so be patient but stick with it! Best of luck! :)

I wasnt successful losing weight until I started counting calories too. But I didnt have any adverse affects from the Spiro except having to drink more water to stay hydrated as its a diuertic. At first I was going to the bathroom to pee a lot more but my body adjusted to my new normal after a few weeks.
