Could Losing Weight Effect Your Periods With Pcos?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Last 3 periods have only spotted or have only been super light and only lasted 3 days. Before I would have a period every other month and bled heavy then light like normal and for 7 to 10 days. I've been losing weight recently and have lost 20lbs in 2 1/2 months I found out a month ago at the doctor's and can tell I'm still losing weight.

Yes, losing weight in itself can cause hormone swings and mess up your period. It should even out eventually. Great job on the weight loss!!!

I ace been the same since the birth of my son. My periods have been scanty and light. This month I had the copper iud fitted and I have literally only had 14 days where I haven’t bled since. Suffering really bad abdominal, hip and bum pain too.
