What's A Good But Not Expensive Diet Plan?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I want to lose weight before I try fertility medication. I was on metformin but they upped the dose because 1000mg wasn't working and I can't do it. 1500mg was too much for me especially with my type of job. So I want to try healthy eating ro help with weight loss. Any tips?

WW (previously Weight Watchers) has worked pretty well for me. It's about $20 a month if you only do it through the online platform rather than going to their workshops (a.k.a their meetings). I've lost 20 pounds and began in September.

I've been doing Slimfast...drinking a shake for breakfast and lunch and then eating a light meal (salad or soup) for dinner. Make sure you get the "advanced nutrition" kind because it has less sugar and high protein! Good luck! I wish you the best on whatever diet you decide to follow.

Wow...I had no idea WW was just $20 per month. I may try that too! Do they give you any special diet foods?
