I was told by four different doctors to stop it immediately. It almost caused me to go type 2 diabetic. And all of them I talked to said they are completely against it.
All you need to do for weight loss is some lean muscle protein shakes, B vitamins, exercise I walk 20 minutes a day and lost five pounds in 5 days. Then portion control. Eat smaller portions. Don't cut anything out just eat less carbs more fruit and veggies. And drink water not juice or pop. 😊
The one thing I found that sped things up for me was the red box program. Through xyngular. Which I'm gonna start back on. Maybe look into that? My doctor said there's nothing wrong with it. And it actually helped me lose 146 pounds in a year and a couple months. I managed to keep the weight off up until the doctors where I am started putting me on pills that made me gain weight. 🙄 so now back to square one. Anyways I hope this helps a bit.

I tried Keto but could not stick to it. I had the keto flu as they say and found it not worth the suffering. I wasn't able to sustain such a strict type of diet. I do my best to think healthy and pick healthier options. I try to think about my fueling my body for energy verse just eating. if I call it a diet I often do not want to stick to it either. Best of luck!

Keto is controversial, my personal opinion is it is not sustainable but may be okay for a jump start to a diet. I have tried many diets, low carb, "portion control", pills etc. It's really about find what works for you. I too had an eating disorder and have to be careful. I currently use myfitnesspal and like it much better than other diets bc I can eat what I want for the most part. I have lost 19 lbs since July. I wish you luck!
