Members rallied around someone whose body did not respond to Provera as expected, sharing that it can take anywhere from two to ten days after the medication ends for a period to start, though some have waited even longer without explanation. Several members offered reassurance by sharing their own stories of delayed or absent bleeding after Provera, with one person recounting how they were able to proceed with ovulation induction despite no bleed, and another suggesting stress or natural cycle timing might interfere with the medication's expected timeline. A recurring theme was the importance of staying in close contact with doctors, requesting blood tests or ultrasounds if needed, and trusting that delayed bleeding does not always mean something is wrong or that treatment cannot move forward.

The set backs are always so frustrating. It's good that they got back to you pretty quickly. Keep me updated- hope you're not waiting too much longer for a follow up appointment

I had this in September. 10 days and still no bleed. I went for a scan, everything looked fine with my womb lining so was ok to start ovulation induction even though I didn’t have a bleed. Never received and explanation as to why but I’d say contact your consultant. Hope you’re able to start your meds soon x
