Hi Ladies. So I got diagnosed today. My doctor wasn't very helpful. I don't know what type of PCOS I have and wasn't aware that there were other types of PCOS. I do a lot of research into things and had questions to ask. But when I got in there today and he told me the news I froze. I still don't really understand this Insulin thing. I have excessive hair growth on my face. Does anyone have any tips for that? That is my main concern at the moment.
Yeah that’s true I heard that helps
TW I had a severe panic attack when I was taking it and next time I talk to my doctor I’ll ask her about it. Just wondered if anyone had the same symptoms.
I don’t take any drugs.
I've been trying to find a good at home hair removal device because I can't afford to go to a professional. I've done quite a bit of research and found a few at home hair removal devices, out of all of them the LumaRx device seems to be the best and get the best results. Has anyone tried this before? If so, did you see results?
You could try going on groupon for laser hair removal! I know it's still kind of expensive, but I got 3 treatments from $80 and it lasts for years
Has anyone tried the No! No! Hair removal product? I'm wondering if it is effective for us ladies with PCOS.
I have tried it. My mom bought me one. It didn't do anything for me.
YES! Was diagnosed with PCOS (kind of off-hand/casually years ago) I didn’t pay much attention because after adjusting my diet my period returned to regular timing for many years until I had a period… read more

Ive been told electrolysis is the only way to remove permnetley unwanted body hair, esp on the face, as laser is not long term and for people with pcos ive seem to see alot of failed laser stories, but ive seen alot of positive on electrolysis , anyone have advice?
I had electrolysis for years... no, decades! The removal was permanent for my few chest hairs, but my chin hairs always grew back. The worst part of that was I couldn't shave because the… read more
