Ive been told electrolysis is the only way to remove permnetley unwanted body hair, esp on the face, as laser is not long term and for people with pcos ive seem to see alot of failed laser stories, but ive seen alot of positive on electrolysis , anyone have advice?

Mt daughter is 17 and PCOS. She had very thick hair but the last year it has become so thin and is just getting thinner with her hairline getting worse.

She is taking 100mg spriolactone and Millenette 20/75.

I am sick with worry. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

My hormones are balanced but I still deal with hirsutism on a daily basis. So much so that I shave (my face) every day, if not twice a day.

I have been struggling with lots of hair loss due to PCOS and it stopped shedding as much as it did in the past but I still feel like I can't wear my hair down without it shedding all over the back of my shirt. It has also been a while since it stopped shedding so much but my scalp is still very thin and while I do see some hair growing back I don't really see it growing back all over my scalp.

I cut my hair over a year ago hoping it would help it grow faster and appear thicker. I’ve always had super thick hair. I noticed my hair has been thinning for the last few years but still manageable. Then I decided to stop the contraceptive pill because I’m 49 and thought my body should go through natural progression into menopause. Since stopping the pill I have lost a lot of hair and fear I will lose it all. I am thinking of going back on the Diane 35 contraceptive pill. I take iron, vitamin d, fish oil and hair and nail supplements

I seem to bloat up after eating. It doesn't always happends, but it seems to appear when I'm more stressed out. It can get quite intense... I can lose up to one pant size in 24h and then gain it back in a couple days time. I tried keeping a food vs bloating journal, but it just happens whenever. I used to have semi-regular periods every 4-6 weeks. Took Nexplanon, gained 60 pounds in a year, and didn't get but one period while I was on it. Now no period in over a year and a half since I had Nexplanon taken out. Diagnosed with PCOS when I went to the OBGYN trying to get my period back to have babies. I have so many questions and never really got any answers. I was 17 when i was first diagnosed. Was given a pamphlet told read this and there was no medicine except birth control that could help control the hair growth. I was not able to take birth control cause it did the opposite for me.
